tKAPOW presents an adaptation of works by American writer Edgar Allan Poe, written and newly revised by founding members, Brian Kennedy.  Alone: Selected Works of Edgar Allan Poe includes such gothic classics as The Tell-Tale Heart, The Fall of the House of Usher, and The Cask of Amontillado, as well as the poems The Raven and Annabel Lee.

Poe is a major American literary figure, a prolific essayist, poet, critic, and short-story writer.  His influence on our culture of letters is immense, even foundational.  He invented the detective story, he helped to perfect the short-story genre in this country, and his works are seminal to modern horror and science fiction.  “The dark intensity of his work, the strength of his literary voice, lends itself to dramatization - the vividness of his imagery is undeniable,” said Kennedy.

Alone is directed by Matthew Cahoon and stars Brian Kennedy in the title role of Poe. Also featured in the cast are Joel Breen, Kate Harper, Jane Hogan, and Brian Kelly.
