On Christmas Eve a middle aged mall Santa and a teenage cell phone salesgirl learn that sometimes a stranger is the only person you can trust with your deepest secret.
Following the success of last year’s Baby Shoes project, in the spring of 2012 tKAPOW presented an evening of new short plays based on a common prompt. Three playwrights met December 18 to get the prompt and get started creating! And here's what they got:
On January 15, 2012, the playwrights shared their first drafts with one another and a group of actors and directors. On February 18, they presented another draft in a staged reading open to the public.
On March 16 & 17, we presented a workshop production of the plays, with another opportunity for audience feedback.
