As theatre KAPOW continues its 18th season, we find ourselves reflecting on how far we’ve come and how we resonate with audiences across New Hampshire. Over the years, tKAPOW has built a theatre company and a wider theatre community rooted in bold storytelling, artistic rigor, and the belief that performance should not just entertain, but also spark meaningful conversation.
In 2025, we saw record attendance at our performances. We have heard from first-time attendees sitting beside longtime supporters, all drawn in by stories that speak to what it means to live, love, and struggle in community. In 2026 we will perform in four different NH communities: Concord, Manchester, Meredith, and (for the first time in several years) Portsmouth. While public funding for the arts continues to shrink, tKAPOW is adjusting to rethink, reimagine, and reprioritize programming in order to sustain the quality and depth of our work, so our conversations can reach farther than ever before.
As we celebrate 18 years of theatre that challenges, engages, and reverberates, we ask you to help us continue pushing forward, not just surviving , but thriving and bringing more voices, more stories, and more communities into the conversation.
