Lisa Boyett (Old Man) is thrilled to be joining such a talented and dedicated group of theater-makers for The Bøyg. Their theater credits include One Empire, Under God, ‘Night, Mother, The House of Bernarda Alba, Abraham Lincoln’s Big Gay Dance Party, Alleged Lesbian Activities, Sister Act, and Bat Boy: The Musical. Film and TV credits include the pilots Ripshit and Y.P.R.: Young, Professional and Ratchet, and the upcoming indie feature film Spectrum. Lisa moved to NYC in 2018 from New Orleans where they lived for 20 years and raised three amazing sons. There is a gigantic place in their heart for New Orleans now and always.

Carey Cahoon (Odd Nansen/Costumes) was last seen was seen last season with tKAPOW in FEAST and in Gidion’s Knot. For tKAPOW’s 2017 production of Living in Exile as Briseis she won the NH Theatre Award for Best Actress (Professional). She also won the 2017 NH Theatre Award for Best Actress as Queen Marguerite in Exit the King, and in 2014 for her roles in tKAPOW’s 3-person Macbeth. Other favorite roles include Sarah Goodwin in Time Stands Still, Cassandra in Agamemnon, Julie in Miss Julie, Hedda Tesman in Hedda Gabler, Jessie in ‘night, Mother, the Pilot in Grounded and Penelope in The Penelopiad. Carey has also performed, directed or designed with Glass Dove Productions, Boston Playwright’s Platform, Stage One Productions, the Palace Theatre, and the Anselmian Abbey Players. Matt Cahoon (Director) is the Artistic Director of theatre KAPOW.  Matt has directed many productions for the company including:  Agamemnon, A Dream Play, Raining Aluminum, and The Penelopiad.  His work with theatre KAPOW has resulted in three NH Theatre Awards for Best Director.  Matt has directed for a number of other companies including the Winnipesaukee Playhouse (Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Miss Julie), Jean’s Playhouse (Kimberly Akimbo), and LaMaMa ETC. (The Life and Times of Lee Harvey Oswald in NY and Me and Bea at LaMaMa International in Spoleto, IT). Matt’s theatre training includes work with Double Edge Theatre Company, Tectonic Theater, SITI Company, the New England Center for Circus Arts, and Range of Motion Arts. In 2013, Matt attended the International Symposium for Directors at LaMaMa Umbria in Spoleto, Italy. In addition to his theatre work,  Matt serves as the Director of Cultural Programming at Pinkerton Academy, an independent high school in Derry, NH. In 2011, Matt was named to the New Hampshire Union Leader’s “40 Under Forty” program.

Dan Daly (Scenis Design) is a Brooklyn based scenic designer who has held positions at the Hangar Theatre, the Corkscrew Festival, and the Winnipesaukee Playhouse.  Dan’s design work has been seen at the Under the Radar Festival at The Public, at Brookfield Place with Third Rail Project’s site specific work Oasis, at RuPaul’s Drag Con where he designs the booth for Monét X Change, and at the Barn Arts Collective in Southwest Harbor, Maine where he built an inflatable theater for performance events. A.J. Ditty (Playwright)is an actor/playwright/slash-mark enthusiast currently living in Brooklyn. His plays include B.B.’s Inferno (The PIT, dir. Tom Costello and Felicia Lobo), Eloise Parker Goes to the Moon (Crashbox Theater’s Read. Play. Write. series, dir. Kristin McCarthy Parker), Heart of Duckness (Pipeline Theater Company’s Bonfire series, dir. Kevin Hourigan), and “Rubiella: A Ghost Story” (Pipeline’s Matchstick series, dir. Felicia Lobo). His Zoom play, “All Things Considered It Was Probably the Most Productive Meeting The Escondido Unified School District PTA Ever Had” had its premiere at Virtual Rule of 7×7 in July of 2020 through The Tank, recently won The 46th Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, and will be published by Samuel French in 2022. He is a proud alumnus of Pipeline Theater Company’s PlayLab and is currently a member of Decent Company, which is a collective dedicated to the advancement of the theatrical writer/performer. Liam Dooley (Assistant to the Director) is very excited to be involved in a creative team with such talented individuals. He currently is in his senior year at Saint Anselm College, where he holds a major in Communication as well as a minor in Theater Arts. He has acted in several productions throughout high school and college, such as his performance as the lead villain in Urinetown. Liam has also had the opportunity to further explore the world of theater as a co-director and co-writer for a college production. In addition, he has spent this past summer as a Supervising Intern where he contributed his theatrical skills towards storyboarding for three projects at a nonprofit organization. He feels very honored to have had such an incredible opportunity at Theater Kapow and hopes that you all enjoy the show!!!

Jake Hudgins (Composer/Music Director) is thrilled to once again jump into the sandbox that is theatre KAPOW. Past productions with tKAPOW include The Penelopiad and Pride and Prejudice. Jake is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Fine Arts and is currently the chorus teacher at Hampstead Middle School. Other noticeable music endeavors include co-writing a one-act musical under the supervision of Broadway producer Jerry Goehring, recording two rock albums with his band Fourth Degree, and eating guacamole with Ben Folds.

Peter Josephson (Commandant/Soldier Two) is a former member of the Actors’ Equity Association, a fifteen-time New Hampshire Theatre Award nominee and two-time winner of the NHTA’s best actor award (for theatreKapow’s productions of Penelope and Exit the King); he has been nominated for Seacoast Spotlight awards for both his acting (Six Characters in Search of an Author) and his directing (Long Day’s Journey Into Night). Peter is a member of the International Michael Chekhov Association and has been leading workshops in the Michael Chekhov acting technique since 2013. He has appeared in theatre KAPOW’s productions of Hedda Gabler, Macbeth, Buried Child, Stupid F@!$%ing Bird, and A Tempest Prayer).

Rachael Chapin Longo (Robert Riefling) received her BS in Theater from Skidmore College and her MA in Educational Theatre from NYU.  She is an actor, director, educator and playwright.  Rachael has dedicated herself to educational theatre and has worked as a professional teaching artist and education director; creating curriculum and teaching classes in acting, directing, playwriting and movement.  Her directing credits include The Wizard of Oz, The Laramie Project, The Death of a Caterpillar, West Side Story, The Tempest, South Pacific, Sister Act, Singin’ in the Rain and Silent Sky (for which she was a finalist for a NHTA “Best Director” Award in 2019).  Acting credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, The Crucible, Desdemona, Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play, The Penelopiad, The Burial at Thebes, Natural Shocks and Gidion’s Knot.  Rachael is currently an adjunct professor of acting and theater arts in the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Merrimack College and the owner of Shawsheen Arts Studio in Andover, MA.  She is also a company member and actor with theatre KAPOW.  She is grateful to have the support of her KAPOW family as she continues to train and learn and thrilled to be a part of the premiere of A.J. Ditty’s The Boyg. The opportunity to explore great storytelling of the human experience is a gift.

Molly Kane Parker (Francis Bull) is honored to be part of Theatre Kapow’s The Boyg, and to collaborate with this inspiring group of artists. Recent roles include Logan in The Thanksgiving Play (WAM Theatre), Bananas in House of Blue Leaves, Emilie in Emilie: La Marquise de Chatalet Defends her Life Tonight (Wellesley Rep), Huldey in The Moors, Geneva in Redwood Curtain (Bridge Street Theatre), Bella in Lost in Yonkers, Sally in Talley’s Folly, Sarah in The Norman Conquests Trilogy, Donna in Mamma Mia (Winnipesaukee Playhouse), Papermaker, The Ladies Man (Shadowland Stages), The Immigrant (Chenango River Theatre), Constellations (Tangent Theater). Molly lives in the Hudson Valley of NY with her daughters, dogs, and multiple houseplants. She is deeply happy to be back on stage. 

Sabrina Schlegel-Mejia (Mikhail Hjorthson) is a Colombian/Swiss actor based in New York. Since graduating from AADA’s conservatory program, Sabrina has appeared as Isabella in Measure for Measure, Antigone in People Vs. Antigone, Clara in feature film We Are Not Content!, as well as Farris in award-winning short film GIRL FRIEND. Some of her other projects include JOJI 22, Cloud 9, Macbeth, Albanian Gangster Part II, Boy in The Window, and The Uncounted.

Tayva Young (Lighting Design) is in her 11th year with tKAPOW. She is very excited to be working on the 14th season of: Return  and more importantly to be bringing The Boyg, to you! She considers tKAPOW her theatre family and could not have asked for a more talented, supportive and imaginative group of people to work with. She has been honored with two NH Theater Awards for best Lighting Design for Time Stands Still and Living in Exile. Some of her favorite tKAPOW productions are: Melancholy Play by Sarah Ruhl, Living in Exile by Jon Lipsky, Grounded by George Brant and Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson. She enjoys the collaboration process with so many talented individuals, bringing the magic of live theatre to all audiences. She lives in Maine on a small homestead with her husband Steve and 2 children, Nolan and Norah.
